The Calming Sheet may help some people to be more relaxed when in bed and assist those with a proprioceptive condition. It is ideal for children with sensory processing disorder, autism, or ADHD, etc.

When the person is in bed, the Calming Sheet will stretch over their body and provide a sensation similar to a weighted (pressure) blanket, but without the excess heat. It may feel like a comforting hug or deep pressure touch.

The stretchy Top Sheet may dampen uncontrolled leg or arm movements. Regular blankets and sheets can be arranged as usual on the bed, either underneath or on top of the Calming Sheet.

Some people like to order one or more spare Top Sheets from the drop-down menu so that there is always one available while the other is in the wash.

FEATURES

  • Unique two-piece design makes the Top Sheet easy to remove for washing
  • The Base Sheet can be left on the bed while the Top Sheet is being washed
  • Adjustable Base Sheet accommodates different depths of individual mattresses
  • Zips on both sides enable a person to easily get in and out of their bed
  • Available in Single, King Single, Double, and Queen sizes.

THE COMPLETE PRODUCT CONSISTS OF

  • A nylon Base Sheet that goes underneath the mattress
  • A removable Top Sheet that covers the top of the mattress, available in either soft, breathable, 4-way stretch Cotton Spandex or stretchable Thermoregulating material

ABOUT THE THERMOREGULATING (TR) MATERIAL

TR Material contains micro-encapsulated Phase Change Materials (PCMs), and was first developed to help astronauts maintain their body temperature. The material should help to ‘keep cool people warm’ and ‘keep warm people cool’. The material allows heat from the body to escape, or if the body is getting cold, it traps the warmth. Many people who are undergoing cancer treatment such as chemotherapy and radiotherapy may benefit from the cooling material.
